This is an opportunity to get involved in a student development in Canterbury.  The goal is to bring this project to exit in time for the 2020 student in-take in Canterbury, and in-time with the launch of the new Medical School.  


St. Thomas Becket Chambers is a student development of 43 units located in Canterbury, Kent. This site is within walking distance of all three main universities along with the main shopping district. It’s central location provides exceptional access to all the amenities Canterbury as to offer a student, meaning residents of St.Thomas Becket Chambers can take full advantage of city life.  

Canterbury is a beautifully historic city with many of its medieval features still present. As a result the local planning authority and the local council adhere to strict construction guidelines with the city centre, especially within the original city walls. The development is located outside the original city walls, however even due to this, gaining planning permission has presented a challenge to us and our professional planning agency Pegasus Group. Taking direct responsibility for all financial aspects of deal structure and project delivery, Stephen ensures the success of our projects.

Gareth joined Coyne in 2016 and has over 30 years experience within the construction industry, holding senior leadership roles over the last 14 years with both national contractors and regional businesses. Gareth’s wide experience focuses on the strategic and operational growth of Coyne and the delivery of projects and the activities of the business in further regions.

Phillipa Crickett Management Accountant
