THE PROJECT

East Eight and London Central Developments exchanged on this Victorian mid-terrace property in the heart of Hackney subject to probate in late 2015. It is due to complete in the coming weeks.  The site benefits from planning permission to convert the existing building into three apartments including a rear extension and loft conversion.   The site has an existing basement, and the proposal is to partly extend this into the garden by 3m. The current planning comprises of a lower ground/ground floor 4-bedroom duplex apartment with private garden. A 1-bedroom apartment on the first floor , and a 2-bedroom duplex apartment spanning the second and third floors.  

FURTHER PLANNING SCOPE

A further planning application was registered on 17/10/2017 to increase the number of self-contained units from three to four. This will divide the lower ground and ground floors into two 1-bedroom apartments. The team are expecting the Council’s decision imminently.
