Pre-Application Update: This week (wb 22/8/16) we
submitted the pre-planning enquiry to the council, and we are expecting to hear
back in ~8 weeks.
The aim of the
pre-app is to enter conversations with the council re. planning permission on
the site and establish the basis for gaining planning permission for 4
additional houses on the site.
We are working with
Richard Pedlar Architects (
http://www.rpca.co.uk/),
who is very experienced in working with listed buildings. With their input, we are
proposing a farm-yard style development with the 4 houses surrounding a central
court yard, which is in keeping with the existing cottages and sensitive to the
historical nature of the site.
You can find two
CAD drawings of the proposed development along with the statement supporting
the pre-application enquiry available for download.
We will keep you
updated as we progress with the project and, as always, do let us know if you
have any questions.
A response from the Council regarding the pre-planning enquiry is available for download.
Update: 2nd November 2016 - Sports and Leisure FacilitiesWork has commenced on
the sports and leisure facilities this week, and is expected completed in
January 2018. When complete, there will be great sports facilities within short
walking distance of the new properties along with a brand new, well-lit road
leading up to our properties. Further, there will be three new tennis courts
just on the other side of the road from the properties.
