The minimum target for this project is set at £100,000. The remaining amount to the £150,000 will be made up by the fundraiser.
Works will commence on the construction of this project in October 2017 and are forecast to be completed in August 2018. In order to minimise risk, the contractor has been appointed on a design and build basis.
Investors will be repaid from the sale or refinance of the completed properties. Finance is already in place to cover the full cost of the works.The market is very strong in Hythe and we expect to pre-sell all the units before completion. However, the sale of only one apartment will be required, along with the refinance of the remaining five apartments on completion, in order to generate sufficient funds to fully repay investors.
The site has planning permission for construction of a contemporary style building containing six apartments totaling 4,915 sq ft. Circulation and common areas total 1,057 sq ft, bringing the total floor space to 5,971 sq ft. The building was designed by leading Hythe based architect, Guy Hollaway.
